 Enjoying a great night of dining in. Tonight we couldn't resist whipping up some local seafood specialties. We enjoyed Portuguese fish chowder, seafood stuffed mushrooms and crab cakes. That's another great reason to come visit Newport! You always have the freshest seafood available and the prices are very reasonable. Today at the fish market in Bannister Wharf mussels were $3 a dozen and a 1.5 lb fresh lobster was $9. Of course, if you don't want to cook you can catch great deals during Restaurant Week where a 3 course dinner is only $30. It's a great way to sample some of Newports finer spots such as Castle Hill Inn or Fluke Wine Bar. Chow!
